TheTVObserver’ StarSpread presents Josh Duhamel.

TheTVObserver’ StarSpread presents Josh Duhamel. This guy is awesome, it’s sad that we are not seeing more of him on TV. Yes, he is fun on the big screen but moving from daily TV on AMC, to almost on TV, is not what we call exciting.
Josh is one of the stars we really love. He is cool and very kind. In this special StarSpread, we look at his career. The hot and sexy married, Mr. Duhamel is an actor and former fashion model. He has been featured on TheTVObserver’s 2009 HotTVHunk List and came third in the Ultimate Top10.
In 1997 he moved to California to pursue modeling and wins Male Model of the Year at a New York modeling convention, beating Ashton Kutcher.
"An agent asked me if I was an actor, and that was the deciding factor for me," Duhamel tells USA Today. "I became obsessed with learning from good actors, like Alec Baldwin, and started taking classes."
While on a photo shoot, Duhamel meets model Kristy Pierce. In 2004, the pair gets engaged, but call it quits months shy of their wedding. "When you're working all the time, it becomes very difficult," he tells Cosmopolitan. "She really taught me about how important it is to be present. I've learned to try to turn off what I do at work and focus on who I'm with."
In 2003 Duhamel is cast in NBC's Las Vegas, a primetime drama about casino surveillance experts. He plays Danny McCoy, protégé of top surveillance master Ed Deline played by James Caan. "Say what you want. The show is fun eye candy," Duhamel tells the Chicago Sun-Times. "People like Vegas. They like girls in tight dresses. That's why the series continues to go on." The show is canceled after five seasons in 2008.
In 2004 DreamWorks studio head Steven Spielberg casts Duhamel as the title character in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton opposite Kate Bosworth and Topher Grace. "When I first auditioned, they wanted the biggest of the big super movie star names to play this part," he tells WWD. "But then they either had to go with a big name, or they had to go with a nobody...And thank God they did that because I got to do it."
In 2007 Duhamel appears on the cover of men's fitness magazine, Best Life, where he discusses his connection to girlfriend Fergie: "She's a real total star. I'm more subdued than that...But that's what makes us work. We have similar fundamental values. We both grew up in similar families. She's just got a great soul."
In 2007 Duhamel plays Capt. Lennox, a special-ops officer who comes across deadly robots, in Transformers opposite Shia LaBeouf. "I watched the show as a kid and loved the dark, evil ones," Duhamel tells the Chicago Sun-Times. After the film takes in $152.6 million in its first week, Duhamel reprises his role for a 2009 sequel.

TheTVObserver: Heidi Klum

TheTVObserver presents a special StarSpread in support of World Blood Donor Day. We selected Hedi Klum as the subject of this very special StarSpread because of her support of The Heart Truth an awareness campaign created by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health.
Your blood can help a lot of people and you being a healthy donor is an important part of helping those who need blood. One person can save three lives by donating blood. From your blood, red blood cells can be obtained, which have a life span of 42 days, platelets, which have a life span of two days, and plasma, which has a life span of one year.
Heidi Klum is one such person who lends her support to The Heart Truth campaign. We take time to look at his inspirational lady and ever growing dynamic life, as she continues to help support a worthy cause.

Heidi Klum was born on June 1, 1973, in Bergische Gladbach, a small city in Cologne, Germany. In 1991, while she was still in high school and doing well in mathematics and art, Heidi was encouraged by her friend Karin to participate in a modeling competition. Although Heidi was reluctant at first, she finally gave in.
She was discovered when she participated in the Model '92 competition, organized by Petra magazine and a New York modeling agency. The competition received 250,000 resumes from girls wishing to participate in the grueling selection process. As the winner of the Model '92 competition, Heidi appeared in the Petrol catalog and was offered a three-year modeling contract with Metropolitan worth $300,000. However, she passed on the offer in order to finish high school.
Less than a year later, she was studying to be a fashion designer when she decided to drop it to pursue a modeling career. After a couple of modeling gigs in Paris and Milan, Heidi Klum crossed the Atlantic to come to the U.S. in 1993, but not before she obtained two things: a lawyer and worldwide insurance. She first landed on our shores in Miami, but she soon made the wise decision to relocate to the highly competitive Big Apple.
In 1996, Heidi Klum founded Heidi Klum GmbH, helped design the firm's trademarked logo and secured the copyright to her name. Heidi Klum was the first German model to take the Sports Illustrated cover and she maintained a mutually beneficial relationship with the publication for years.
By 1997, Heidi was snatched from regular model status and thrown into the supermodel ranks of Tyra Banks, Helena Christensen and Stephanie Seymour. That year marked Heidi's first runway walk and the beginning of a long relationship with Victoria's Secret.
People magazine finally recognized Heidi as one of the world's 50 Most Beautiful People. She has since been honored by ranking high on various "sexiest women" lists, such as FHM's, Maxim's, and of course, AskMen's Most Desirable Women list.
As an actress, Heidi's parts have been relatively small and she often appears as herself. Nonetheless, she's a welcome addition to any screen and has appeared in such television shows as Spin City, CSI: Miami and Sex and the City, in which she shared the runway with Sarah Jessica Parker. She can also been seen in the films 54 (1998), Blow Dry (2001), The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004), Ella Enchanted (2004), and The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
Heidi Klum is well-known for her down-to-earth personality and her quirky sense of humor (she yodeled on The Late Show with David Letterman and performed a pregnant dance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show), but her wholesome family values may surprise some. She has listed quality time with her family as her greatest hobby, among her many other interests, such as jazz and ballet dancing, traveling, painting, skiing, and listening to music. Her favorite musical artists include James Brown, Moby, Dido, U2, and Nikki Costa. We have one question: Where's Seal on that list?
Since 2004, Heidi Klum has enjoyed enormous success with her reality television series Project Runway. Heidi serves three roles on the show: producer, lovely hostess and judge. Contestants with hopes of becoming fashion designers vie for a chance to prove their skills, and Heidi Klum wields the power to make their dreams come true or crush them into oblivion.
A pint of blood, which weighs approximately one pound, is collected during donations. Typically, women have approximately 10 pints and men have approximately 12 pints of blood. There are still a lot of misconceptions, such as ‘you can only donate once a year’, when actually you can donate up to six times a year. Be inspired by the likes of Heidi and save a life by giving your blood.
